This section focuses on the common mistakes made by English learners. When we are learning a language, we tend to get confused between some words or phrases and are unsure about their correct usage.

 

Which of the following sentences are incorrect?

‘I have been living in Delhi since four years.’ or ‘I have been living in Delhi since 2009.’

‘Whom are you talking about?’ or ‘Who are you talking about?’

‘I’ve advised him to wear formals.’  Or ‘I’ve adviced him to wear formals.’

‘Nearly every fruit on the car was spoilt.’ or ‘Nearly each fruit on the cart was spolit.’
