Think of a large market divided into small stalls or tables. Different sellers bring different items, so a visit can feel like a search for an unexpected find.
Picture the kind of place
A flea market brings many independent sellers together in one place. Each seller may have a table, stall, blanket, or small space. The goods can include books, clothes, tools, furniture, records, toys, and antiques.

Separate a flea market from a shop
A shop usually belongs to one business and has a more regular selection of goods. A flea market is a shared marketplace with many sellers. Some flea-market goods are used or old, but that is not the only difference.

Talk about price politely
In some flea markets, sellers expect buyers to ask whether a price is flexible. In others, prices are fixed. You can ask politely without assuming that every seller will reduce the price.

Negotiate means discuss a possible price together.
Could you take twenty pounds for this lamp?
Could you makes the request polite and leaves room for the seller to refuse.
