What you will find here

How this practice helps

Learn gives you an explanation. Practice lets you try the topic with support. Test gives you a new example without hints.

You can move between these parts when you need an example, another attempt, or a closer look at the feedback.

EnglishLeap essentials

Clear information, written for learners.

Read the explanation

Open Learn to see the main rule or meaning. Compare the examples before trying the questions. Reference pages also group forms and words so you can find the detail you need.

Practice with support

Open Practice and follow the instruction above the answer field. Listen to the recording, type what you hear, or fill the gaps. Use replay and hints if you need help, then check your answer.

Use the feedback

Compare the feedback with your answer. Review the spelling, word, or form that caused difficulty. Listen again or return to Learn before trying another example.

Try a test

Test uses new recordings without hints. You can replay the audio, and the transcript appears after you check your answer. Use the result to choose what to review next.

Choose the available voice

The accent choices depend on the recording. Check its label before playing. Choose 0.75× for slower playback and 1× to return to the recorded speed.
