Fronting: move information for emphasis
What do you remember about this?
Show explanation
Use fronting when the first information helps set the scene, create contrast, or give deliberate emphasis. Start a sentence with a time or place phrase such as After lunch or On the wall, then use the normal clause. With some negative openings, use an auxiliary before the subject: Never have I seen it before.
After lunch, we checked the figures again.
